Because of you I've been scraped and bruised,
You make me run for miles and miles,
Even after all that abuse,
Playing on that field still makes me smile.
You can't believe the rush i feel everywhere,
When i pass by my defenders guard.
Throw that ball into the air,
and it goes right into that net and falls down hard.

My Thoughts On Macbeth
So far i think that it is pretty easy to follow along with the story as long as we get the chance to read back over the text and analyze whats happening. I do not think that Macbeth is too gruesome, yet it still has its disturbing moments. I like that we take our time to go back and reread to make sure that everyone understands exactly whats going on. If we weren't to do that, some of the language might get a little confusing.

Canterbury Cathedral
-The Cathedral's history goes back to 597AD
-In 1170 Archbishop Thomas Becket was murdered in the Cathedral
-He was murdered by the king's men because he said he wanted someone to rid him of the Archbishop, and the knights thought he really ment it.
-Ever since, the Cathedral has attracted thousands of pilgrims, as told famously in Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.
-A modern memorial, at the place where he was slain, marks the martyrdom of Thomas Becket.
-Two ragged steel swords and a broken sword point throw a striking shadow behind a bare stone altar.
-It is visited as much today as it ever has been.

Myself as a Writer
When i was a little freshman in Mrs. Colonel's English class, i was terrible at writing. I still got A's but that was because she graded easier. When i was a freshman i struggled with MLA format and editing mostly. Now i understand the MLA format for the most part, i just sometimes forget about adding a header or double spacing. I've also become more comfortable with having others edit my papers for me. I used to be uncomfortable, but now i understand that their criticism is to help me, not make fun of me. I get frustrated with writing about things that i have no interest in. I'm much more comfortable when its something that interests me. When i don't care about what I'm writing, it really shows in my paper. The part of the writing process that i don't like is brainstorming and having to write it down. I can brainstorm in my head so there's no need for me to write it out. To sum it all up, i like and am good at writing papers as long as i care about the topic. Otherwise you can see how much effort that i really put into the paper.

My Heroes
My heroes are my grandparents. My grandparents are some of the happiest and strongest people i have ever met. They are always so positive, no matter what happens. I love them for all of the important things they have taught me. I want to be the kind of grandmother that my mamma was for me.

Hi!
Hey, My name is Haley Ransler. I'm 16 and am a Junior at Anderson High School. I play varsity on the Lady Orange Lacrosse team. We've been Ohio State Champs for the past two years. We're hoping to make it a threepeat this year. Because I'm a Junior this year, a frequently get the questions "where do you want to go to college" or "what do you want to do with your life". The honest truth is that i have absolutely no idea. I've though about colleges before, but because i have no idea what i want to major in, I don't know how to decide. I've thought about playing lacrosse during college, but I'm not sure i want lacrosse to take up all of my time. I've even thought about possibly going into the military. I am just completely confused and don't know what to decide. But i guess that's what growing up is really all about, making the tough decisions for yourself. I just wish all of this could be a little easier.
